After coming down from the Danum Valley, we flew from Lahad Datu back to Kota Kinabalu, where we cleaned up, relaxed and went out to see some more of town. Someone had given us a line on a good indian restaurant, "Kohinoor" or something like that, down on the waterfront. I had an excellent lamb dish in a cashew and something else sauce, with garlic naan, some goat cheese, and a mango drink kind of like yogurt. Yum!

Unfortunately I had my camera set to manual focus and didn't know it so most of my pictures came out blurred. Grrr....

And then it was time to head to the airport. I said good-bye to Ram and Dawn, and embarked on a long series of flights and waits to get to Tasmania, where I would meet up with Dona and our friends the Frappells for a great time!
