We were a bit discouraged about having our window busted in Chetumal, and left the next day for Belize. The border crossing was a disaster -- totally disorganized, slow, hot, and incredibly inefficient. But we finally made it across.

Bill and Carol had asked me how soon I wanted to get to the boat, and I told them "before Christmas." We still had quite a bit of time, so we had a more liesurely trip heading south through Belize. Our eventual destination was Punta Gorda, from where I could take a boat to Guatemala.
