Our fifth day on the Smith brought us a Great Blue Heron on a big rock across the river from us.

We had a leisurely breakfast but wanted to get on the river in reasonable time, as we had the long drive home at the end of the day.

The river below Rattlesnake isn't as interesting as it is higher up; we floated on down without stopping.

All in all, a great trip! Thanks again to our friends Elizabeth and John for the invite, and for loaning us their raft for the trip.
