The next morning everything was full of sand; we dug out, ate a quick breakfast, packed up, and headed on down the river to the take-out at Swasey's Rapid. It wasn't too hot and we didn't spend any time swimming as we had long drives ahead of us after we took out.
At Swasey's we packed up and then headed in to the town of Green River, where we had our ritual last lunch of burgers at Ray's Tavern. As they always are, they were Good!

Seven days was definitely not enough time for this trip. When we started planning, Steve and I had talked about taking nine days, which would have given us time for two layover days and a lot more exploring. But all of us couldn't take nine days so we had to settle for seven. Next time...
