This page is a placeholder for a description of the house heating system, which is primarily via ground-source heat pump. There are two identical 6 ton units, more than enough, it turns out. I usually only run one, and have both of them turned off for about three months during the summer due to the high thermal mass of the rock/stone foundation and the additional thermal mass of the log walls.
