This page is a placeholder for a description of the house electrical system. As with most things in log houses, what is simple and straight-forward in a stick frame house is non-trivial in a log house, because you don't have all those stick walls to run things through.
In this house, electrical outlets are generally centered in horizontal wall logs, with some in posts. All of this requires a lot of pre-planning. When you forget or want to change something, as we did on occasion, what would have been a fairly simple operation if properly pre-planned can become a very time-consuming, sometimes impossible, process.
