Dona's father was Donald Fawcett. We all probably owe him a debt of gratitude, as he was a pioneer in the use of electron microscopy for medical research. I barely knew him, but his sense of humor and many friends spoke will of him. He was a wonderful photographer. His books were, unfortunately, beyond me -- I don't even understand the titles of most of them.
